A picnic garden

Beergrdn stands for a fusion between a “picnic garden” and a beer place. As for client’s wise advice - “if a place is feminine enough so the girls can come in, the boys will follow them.”

The place is a mix between pin-ups and pop culture. Re-interpreted pin-ups included in the branding, arcade games as tables and neon lights.

This is one of the first MANTARAY projects back in 2014. Located inside URBN Hotel - the first “carbon neutral hotel” in China. URBN Hotel is a 26-room hotel converted from a 1970’s former post office building, designed by A00 Architecture.
